Where are you from?

Munich, Germany

How did you first get into crypto/NFTs?

I saw that Anonymous video about Bitcoin in 2012 and was like “meh, non-sense”. When a friend told me about it in 2013 I was convinced.

When I first heard about CryptoKitties in 2018 I didn’t see the use case, but when I saw NFTs as a solution for a bigger problem in 2021 I was fully committed.

What platform did you choose and why?

Polygon, because it’s the most sustainable blockchain (mix of energy consumption and longevity)

What are the most important things in your life?

Health, purpose, family and otters

What do you enjoy when not creating art?

Traveling, movies and computer games

Tell us about your project.

Rainforest Tokens neutralize your ecological footprint and save rainforest. Each Rainforest Token protects a unique piece of endangered rainforest and fights climate change on your behalf!

What makes it unique?

Rainforest Tokens representing real - and therefore unique - nature. They are more than an image and need more than a jpeg to be properly explained and visualized. That’s why there is the Rainforest Explorer, which displays the real world impact of the Rainforest Tokens and their owners (https://explorer.fundtheplanet.net).

Where do you get your inspiration?

We felt the need to take action and fight the environmental crises. We began to look at our own impact and found a solution for many like-minded people out there.

What motivates you/your work?

Working for a greater purpose: Protecting endangered rainforests and providing people a satisfying and motivating solution to counteract their ecological footprint.

How has your style evolved over the years?

It became more dimensional (Rainforest Explorer)

What’s next for you/your project?

Launching the second edition and acquiring more rainforest land for conservation.

If you could collaborate with anyone, who would it be?

David Attenborough or the Irwin family
